Dry Bones and Other Fossils

Discover many evidences for Creation, the Fall, the Flood in this Fossil Workshop which is an introduction to the fossil groups, how they form and how to identify them. Your class/children will explore the many invertebrate animals we have living on the reefs and seashores today looking at their very beautifully and artfully designed structures. Then they will compare with the groups of invertebrates we find as fossils, each one so well preserved that features may be easily recognized. Each student will work with his/her own or shared (depending on the size of the group) fossil kit of about 17 preserved specimens (includes all the major phylums of invertebrates and a representative fossil from reptilian (dinosaur ex.), pises (shark ex.) and two plant ex. This kit is designed to compare modern with fossil types, see detailed designs, and show a wide range of localities where they're found. The kits may not be taken home, but each child will receive a specially preserved specimen of their own to take home with them.

Millions of tons of fossil remains are made up of invertebrate groups, which include corals, snails, clams, the squid and octopus group, starfish, and the horseshoe crab group. Many hands-on fossil specimens used in the workshop should give your students the tools for Good Science observation. The fossil specimens collected from Paleozoic rock deposits of the middle United States, as well as museum displays of fossils from around the world will set the stage for the true Biblical history discovery which emphasizes the Creation of the world, the Fall of Man, the Great Flood of Noah's days and the Promised Christ who is the Creator. It's time to tell the truth about fossils!! This workshop does just that!
